first off, crank or wheel, second off, easily,...i havent done it, but i know that you can easily, i would say with a good exaust system, a front mount, a good intake system, bigger injectors, a bigger fuel pump, and the 16g of corse you could easily, but you might want to do forged internals if you go any bigger...
 
i dont know about "over" 350 wheel horsepower. i am not near hitting 350 but. the most i have seen or heard about is about 350 whp.
 
Hey, I have a a Long, long list of parts on my DSM including a Big 16G. I'm pushing 22lbs of boost on 91 octane and barely hitting the 300 fwhp. I suppose with race gas, a set of cams, and another lb or two of boost I might come close to the 350 mark. I'm skeptic about my internally stock engine actually accomodating that much hp though.
