16g turbo?

OK so this may sound like an extremely stupid question but here it goes. i just bought my first dsm not too long ago and i was told it does have a 16 g turbo on it...BUT today one of my friends told me that it doesnt look big enough to be one....how do i tell if it is or not?

Check the part number on the compressor housing, then search that number on here and that should tell you.

Is there a j pipe? that is a pipe that should be coming out of the top of the turbo that goes around the turbo down into your intercooler. if it dose not then its a T25(or a T 2 small) stock turbo and he lied to you.

I just looked at your pics and yes it looks like it. it my be a small 16g but it looks like one from what i can see.
