16G turbo

When you install a 16g Turbo on a 99 eclipse GST do you need a boost controller or will it run stock boost? Thanks

A boost controller will be a plus as well as a boost gauge is needed

If you simply hook a vacuum line from the lower intercooler pipe/j-pipe or compressor housing directly to the wastegate actuator, you'll run wastegate pressure boost levels, which usually ends up being around 11psi. A boost controller is necessary to raise above that level.
