Hey was wondering if you needed to upgrade the injectors for the small 16g or could you stay with the 450s the reason why I ask because I have heard yes and no, so now i'm not too sure...thanks:thumb:

It is possible to run any Turbo without having to do Injectors, Keep in Mind you should have upgrade to a Bigger Fuel pump by now to be done with basic supporting mods... However, having stock injectors does not allow you to take Full advantage of having a Turbo Upgraded, Boost Levels should remain STOCK! Otherwise , way to much AIR not enough FUEL...

When upgrading to Bigger Injectors and hopefully you know this by now, it requires that you have a Tunning Device such as i.e: ECU Eprom Socketed, DSMlink/ECMlink, AFC/SAFC// and so Fourth..

Ya I plan on getting the 190 fuel pump I feel the 255 would be a bit of an overkill for the 16g and I plan on using dsmlink to tune the air/fuel but I hear that boosting 19 psi with the 16g is fine is that correct?

255 can supply the sufficient amount of fuel need for any upgraded turbo setup, If your goals change, Like many, You will not have to improve in the same area and go backwards just do it right the first time. As far as boosting to 19psi, You will lean out, Way to much boost on your stock injectors, It will be running Full cycle already at 16psi... If you are asking once you have injectors and DSMlink, than yes, 19psi Is a good boost for starters!

on stock injectors most people will tell you not to go above 16. personally I wouldn't go above 12psi. with appropriate injectors and a way to tune the 16g can be ramped up to around 26-28 psi without leaving the efficiency range

Damn! Thats good to hear but ya that's true about the 255 and that pretty much answers my question about the injectors I'm definitely planning on boosting more than 16 psi so looks like I gotta start saving for some injectors do you think 660s would be an adequate size?

550s Would do it, but If you plan on going bigger in terms of a Snail, 550s will soon be maxed out eventually, Id say 680s at the very least...

Cool cool now I know 255 pump with some 680s go big or go home haha as far as the dsm link however, I am a little worried about that, not to experienced with engine tuning I might have to take it in.
