my friend has an 84camaro and he bought an electric water pump and electric fan. He is unsure if he wants to do the conversion so he is willing to let me use it. the fan is a 16" flows more than 3000 cfm. I know the radiator we use is about 14" is it possible to place the fan over the radiator even though the fan will hang over the end tanks a little. if your wondering why i wanted to do this it is because yesterday here in chicgoland IL it was about 90 and humid as hell i hit 212 on the pocket logger and i usualy run around 190-204 so i thought i blew a coolant hose i get out and everything is connected and my fans blowing but its a slimline i think it is a 10" i think that thing is crying by the time it turns on so thats why i even thought of doing somrthing like this so let me know what you guys think thanks

Try running a dual fan set up. The second fan run off a switch, once the temps start to climb kick it on. You can also get a lower thermostat and try some redline water wetter. :thumb:
