Hey guys. I got a T3/T4 40mm WG tubular manifold from DNP & it looks like it's so big I wont even be able to fit a slim puller fan.

I was just wondering if anyone has a push radiator fan (mounted on the bumper side of the radiator, not the engine side). If so, how does it work for you?
Also do they work as well as normal radiator fans?

i have one 10"fan and it runs alittle hotter than i would like on hot days above 80* anything under that it works good.

i didnt have any problems with my fmic fitting i did remove my power steering cooler and i have about 4 or 5 inches of clearence between my fan and front mount.

You can fit either a 10" or 12" slim line just fine in there. I would suggest looking for one that flows at or above 1,000cfm's.

I have been running a single pusher fan(10" I think) from an older Benz for the past year with no issues. It first perfect in the radiator support but if you still have ac, it might be a problem. As for temps, I have a 180* thermostat and I might see 199-203* in 90+ degree weather. In the cooler temps, the car always runs 180-188*.

I didn't want to start a new thread since this one kinda gave me an answer. So I'll bring it back from the dead. I was thinking the same thing for my 2g and was looking at this 3,000cfm 12" fan. It should just fit. do you think the high cfm would offset the Push style?

huh..answered my own question. No a 10" is all that will fit on the front side and on Perma-cools website I found that you loose 20% efficency by mounting it on the front side. So roughly a 2000 cfm fan would only push 1,600cfm.

would there be a problem using FAL Fans??
i own a 3000gt and asked this question with no good response on 3si.org
just wanted some advise on a pusher setup
heres what i have
149* Thermostat
Koyo 2" Thick rad
FAL Fans #210
Samco Rad Hoses
Rad Fan Controller set to turn on if the rad hits 160

Dont mean to hijack the thread

Thanks
Kx
