I was wonder is there a difference in putting the fan in front of the radiator as oppose to behind (factory location). The is a lot of room in between the intercooler and the radiator.

The fan will still be turning in the same direction as it normally would (pulls air across the rad normally) so by mounting it between the rad & ic its going to still pull the air, which is obviously is moving the air the wrong way. Their DC so you should be able to just swap negative & positive wires to get it to run in reverse, forcing air across the rad but it probably still wont work that well as the blades weren't designed to work that way. With the aftermarket fans that can be pusher or puller you have to flip the blades depending on which way you want to use it.
