14b on 2g homemade oil line help

My t25 is completely shot and my 2g has been down for the moment.
So I bought a 14b from a buddy. came with water lines, return line, the original j pipe off the turbo and the o2 housing.
It came with the 1g oil feed line but I dont have a banjo bolt for it to bolt to the head. Ive searched locally at all parts stores and have had no luck what so ever.

I'm ordering a SS line for it but I need this car running today. So I started thinking. I have the original 2g line on the car still, plus I have the original 14b line. Could I just cut the stock 2g line right before it fits into the feed to the turbo and cut the 14b line and use a compression union for now? I believe the stock 2g line is 1/4 brake hose. I'm unsure what size the 1g lines are.

Please let me know what you guys think. Im sick of seeing it sit and im carless at the moment.
 
There is a good chance that a compression fitting will not hold up to the oil pressure, and it's just going to cause a massive oil leak and possibly destroying your new turbo. You may be better off trying to find another DSM'r around you that would have a spare banjo bolt laying around and use it until your braided line comes in.
 
If you run the oil feed from the ofh, you will over pressure the turbo.
 
Garrett is ok from ofh due to the larger oil passage inside the turbo. MHI turbos have a much smaller oil passage internally. Thats why all 2g's are ofh, and all 1g's are head.
 
I have solved this problem. Went to a e-motor store about an hour away from me. The dont sell oil feedlines seperately. I was just looking through random boxes in the store and found a SS oil feedline. Since i found the line in a box randomly, i asked him will you sell it? Picked it up for 15 bucks with all hardware.
