I ordered my pte 5031 bb from slowboy..(local shop) and I love it. I can't complain about anything really. It doesn't like timing but that could be many things. Great Tourque and awsome power band. I have a link to my dyno sheet in my profile if you want to see it. Yeah...the injectors..Let's just say on the dyno dsmlink was saying 100% duty cycle..not good I know that's why I turned down the boost 2-3 lbs and now see 90-93 duty cycle. Know anyone selling 750's or bigger cheap? Or willing to trade for denso 660's.

ive got some 780 ill sell pretty cheap pm me for details

Tunning is hard. A lot of things you have to play with to get it "just right". And it never is right. I still don't have it down. I have people helping me out though, so thats good.

7 counts is only 2* timing pull max. Thats really not that much. I need to play with timing a bit to get the power perfect.

Its actually 2.47 degrees of timing pull as the ecu pulls .353 degrees every count of knock. 7 counts is about all you want especially on race gas. 7 counts can quickly turn into 20 counts when things change just a little. My fastest runs are still with less than 5 counts of real knock. You can run more actual timing when you play with the knock sensor instead of trying to shove timing down its throat.

Yea for sure. Im in the process of a complete retune. Being on pump gas the line that i have to tune on is very thin. I pulled the timing down to around 18*. Ive changed the fuel settings to give me a richer mixture. Hopefully within a few weeks ill have some track numbers to back up the dyno slip. My goal is to get everything running with no more than 3 counts of knock during the entire run. I would rather lose a little overall power, than knock and lose my engine. When it comes down to it, its just not worth the problems that maxing your setup on pump gas is worth.

I tune for 3 counts or less also... your right it's not worth it...
