I was getting the same type of comments when I started my project. These guys are not trying to kill your dream. It is very expensive to build a car that can handle that power. It will take a lot of effort if you are doing the work. It is not an easy project. Trust me I know, just look at my build. But if you want it. If you will listen to these guys on the site that know what they are talking about. If you research, read, read, read, and read some more. If you can spend the cash, at least 30k and better if you want to do it right so the car will last. If you will not give up, especially when things start breaking. I think you can make it. It is not impossible, but it is hard. But I will say the guys on this site make it possible because you will be able to find all the answers you need. Good luck buddy.

I'm NOT about to go auto, I'll set up NLTS :)

hahahah i knew id get a rise outta ya:D
Just fn w ya bro, NLTS will get er done just fine. You still gonna spend more on tranny parts though.... But i admit, i WILL miss bangin through gears.

The road to 1000hp is not a hard one if you know what your are doing but it can be a very expensive one. Making the power is the easier part, setting it up to make it all work is the longer harder part.

This is true, you can probably make 1000hp once just from parts bought, but how many dyno pulls will it last LOL.
