1.8 sohc turbo

hey guys i have a 94 1.8 eclipse rs with a turbo i did all custom exhaust and intake work,i have the td05 turbo on it with the 2.0 turbo injectors ,cold air intake, and i think thats it for add on parts , but i bored my engine out .50 over and shaved the head a little bit .. u guys know any other things i could do to get some more juice outta this thing? undefined

He only needs a new head gasket if he plans on detonating. Also, why is everyone so worried about his compression? A shaved head usually means just a little clean up of the surface. It probably raises the ratio like .1 or .2:1. Plenty of people run tons of boost with way more compression than that with no problems.

Also, how did you get a turbo to bolt up to

usually when u shave a head you dont just make it smooth u shave a bit more off then that and thats just increasing ur compression which gives u a good boost of power, nthis isnt some made up junk its a fact but it does a number on the head gasket to have a turbo on it as well

let me rephraise, i didnt mean boost as in turbo boost, i meant it gives u a good bump up of power

I know what you meant, and I'm saying that it isn't so much of an increase power if you can't boost more than 7 psi
