:laser: hey ya'll i cant seem to find an answer to my question so maybe ya'll can help

i have a 1g 1.8 laser and i want to replace the stock 1g MAS with a 2g MAS can this be done or should i not fix something that aint broke...LOL in a manner of speaking :laser:

yea that shit is mad un needed.

Do a 2.0 swap !

i have a 2.0 nt i ptu a turbo on the difference was the stock maf has 6 wires the turbo has 7

The stock MAS is highly unlikely to be a restriction on a 1.8 NT (or a 2.0 NT),and certainly neither will generate the airflow required to overrun the stock unit.

Why is this something you want to do?

i want to do this because i want to get rid of this big ugly goofy-ass K-n-N air filter the filter for these things r friggin huge besides the 2g looks smoother and cleaner just thought that it might work but have to splice wires together to do it i dunno all i want to know is will it work............

Splicing wires isn't the problem, the 2g mas has 7 wires vs the nt mas only having 6, and the 2g mas puts out a lower Hz signal per "amount" of airflow so if you dont have an safc you wouldn't be able to run it anyway.
