so i finish a drive, and look at my apexi turbo timer, just casualy. I see 1.56 i dont pay attentio thinking that its 1 minut and 56 seconds, because my car has 2 minuts of "turbo time"

then i realize that the led is indicating that that is the o2 voltage. How the heck does this happen? i took it for a spin around the neibor hood, and the voltage pretty much stayed at this nubmer the whole time. when i put it into park finlay it bliped down to .9 somthing then back up to hover around 1.23ish. what is going on.

If your car was really running at 1.2 or 1.5 02 voltages it would smell like raw fuel and would have alot of smoke coming out the exhaust. Unless you have these additional symptoms then I woul replace your 02 sensor because it is not reading accurately. How does your turbo timer hook up to the 02 sensor to read the voltage?

It is hooked up right and has read correctly at WOT throttle before??? right..????

Voltage jumps all over doing anything EXCEPT WOT. So before if you would get .92-.98 volts at WOT and now you wont or what?? Just asking before you spend 100 bux that might not help.

i shoudl check the coneections i did recently remove the display and put it back in, it dosnt smoke or anythingk like that, there is a wire that is taped into the ecu wire, it barly even jumps around, it jsut kinda sticks at that voltage

It did some wierd stuff today, before i even started the car it showd, 1.63ish then i started the car, and wigled the wires going in to the turbo timer control unit. And it seemed to fix it. It would scale back and fourth and then set in on .91/.92 during full throttle. But then sometimes it would shoot up back to the way it used to be. some times spiking to 2 volts. I didnt smell any gas, and the car felt fine beyond its posibly exhaust leek.

Sounds like a bad connection.

Agreed. Check your tap into the O2V wire.

Also, what are you reading at idle? You should be getting .2-.8 fluctuating constantly

If not the wiring, I second the other thread...bad O2 sensor. When it goes bad, the ECU dumps the crap out of fuel in order to protect the engine. You will get horrible gas mileage, fuel smell, slight smoke from the exhaust, loss of some power.

yeah ill check the wire again, it goes in and out, some times it fluctuates like you said, other times it will fluctuate almost a volt more in all regards, like 1.2 ro 1.8 and so on, other times it will hold one number and not move at all

Sounds like you might want to check thr ground. Also, when the car is completely cold, and you start it, you should see very close to 0 volts. If you see 0.5 or something, it must be the ground.
