Where can I buy one of these? I heard someone say summit had them or something buy I can't find them. Do o2 sensors have standard plugs?

If I don't do it this was what's the correct way to solder it? I heard quite a few people say this is the wrong way to do it, that's why I'm asking.

Please post a link this is all I need and my car runs :) thanks

Oreiilys and autozone should have front and rear o2 sensors with the stock OEM plugs. At least this is true for the 2g however they are a bit more expensive.

Buy the Universal Bosch sensor for our cars from Oreilly's or Autozone and they come with all the instructions to rewire your plug onto the new sensor. If you cut it long it'll be extended. I just bought one for my wife's GST Spyder, it came with instructions and it was really easy to do and I could have made the wire at least a foot longer than stock if I wanted to. I think it was around 60-70 bucks and they had it in stock.

There seems to be some confusion about what the OP is asking for.

Maxthepersonz, are you asking for an extension to move the sensor away from the exhaust stream, or extending sensor harness?

Ok that makes much more sense after reading the OP again. I have never used a harness extender but I have spliced in an extra few inches on a previous car of mine (I had to do this because an aftermarket DP moved the o2 sensor further down stream). I simply matched the gauge of the wires and soldered in extra length. Just be sure to match up the proper wires of course. Never caused me any issues. Obviously this would be a last resort if you cannot find the harness extender.

Be careful using the universal sensors are extending the wiring.
If you mix up the wires you can blow the sensor ground on the ECU or the input by connecting the heater circuit to either the O2 sensor Ground or the Sensor output. This is one of the non-forgiving areas of the car.

Sorry for the confusion everyone. I made this post while working at my friends shop and having no service.. Lol I just need to extend the wires that is all. There isn't enough slack in it anymore now that I got rid of my 16g and got a different o2 housing there isn't enough slack and I'm worried about the wire burning.

The bottom picture you posted is exactly what I'm looking for unless you think soldering would be better? I don't know what to cover the wire in if I extended it because I'm sure it's some kind of high temp tubing. Is that Bosch sensor a direct plug in? If so I might just pick that one up.

The bosch sensor isn't a direct plug in, you have to cut your old sensor wires and connect them to the new sensor wires using the connector they come with. There's instructions that come with it. Here's the instructional video on youtube.
