If you look at my o2 is slowly starts to go down to 0 after i punch it. It settled at .82 for a little bit but then decresed to 0 and then soon after i was getting 43 counts of knock. Is the 0.00v at wot a bad o2 for sure? It cycles good at cruise and idle but wot is bad. I also free revved in my driveway and got 15 counts of knock.

Let me know what you guys think
Look is profile for mods.

What are your settings on the AFC? It looks like you are running incredibly lean at WOT and this is whats causing the substantial knock. Add a lot of fuel up top (past 3500) and then back it down until you see knock. This is clearly not just a bad o2 sensor, as the knock indicates a lean condition as well. In my experience, I have never seen an o2 sensor that is cycling properly end up being bad. After adding fuel through the AFC, you will want to remain above .5V at all times during WOT, as you need to be richer than 14.7:1 while in boost. Do not get on it like this until you richen things up and eliminate that knock.

here is another log with some more fuel thrown in. Adding fuel with an safc2 means adding negative correction right? Im notcing with the logs i have taken the big knock hits start right after i let off of the throttle. If my o2 was dead it would still have voltage though wouldnt it?

it's pretty obvious the o2 sensor is shot. another good way to test it is to simply unplug the thing. if it reads the same logs (which I'm betting it will) the sensor is toast.

btw, if you get another one, do yourself a favor and buy a regular universal o2 and solder it yourself. the price jumps from 60 bucks to 110 just to have a "factory style" o2 sensor (comes with harness)..

I will do that tommorow, i don't see how it reads fine at idle and cruise but wot it just dies. My gas mileage does suck like a bad o2 though.

nice car by the way Tom

Jim

wasting time not doing my hw and i noticed this old post.

it has come to my attention (recently had the same problem at idle) that an o2 is not shot at 0.00 in all cases. I dont know if you bought a new o2, but in my case it was just extremely lean at idle. this was due to two things. one was a boost leak at the intake manifold, and the other was the recent install of a gm maf that i had yet to tune. I got my car to run, with the leak, by richening up the idle heavily. I then drove the car to pauls and hes going to try and get "the demon bolt" out. this could be the same case, as I see you have a safc, and your larger injectors might be causing lean wot if you haven't tuned for that yet. my guess is that you've fixed this problem a while ago, but this information is now here for anyone searching. i know how we love that word here, so ill say it again for all you mods to m-bate to: searching is goodROFL

Did anyone notice he said (To ADD FUEL you go negative on the AFC right)

No neg is less Pos is more.

I hope you were not pulling to much fuel out.
