Long awaited decade long project

I have owned this car for almost a decade, and it has been running roughly for a year or two. My goal is to get it running now that I have finished school.

No kidding. The makeshift wooden one was ok, but this one works so much better.

Test fitting going well. Getting a follow up list to order. Cam degree kit, castleplug, inch lb torque wrench for timing belt, some misc hardware.

Forgot about OFH. Started to take that apart to clean it out and the, assuming, oil plugs (big Allen plugs) are fairly seized up. Need to figure out what else I gotta replace on this. I think it had a set up for an external oil cooler - haven't read up on these at all (OFH and oil coolers).

Yes - those Banjo pipe fittings are for Air/Oil cooler oil lines. I went with an AN fitting here with 90deg hose ends. Maybe next time I'd consider a set of hoses with Banjo Hose ends.

Any reason why? Ill be making that decision this week and I was figuring AN fittings would be the way. Im not opposed to banjo fittings either.

A lot has changed! The block is a block, and no longer lives in the clean room. Currently assembling a few more things here and there to get ready for another large parts order. After this next order, I should have everything I need to drop it in the engine bay.

For my own list:
Motor timed, intake/exaust manifolds installed, cleaned up ignition coils, throttle cable done, throttle body rebuilt and in place, OFH rebuilt and installed (need to research aftermarket gauge/sensor), transmission is hopefully fine - its sat drained and sealed up for years, no rust, still had some lube on the gears where axles insert. Theres probably some other stuff but overall a huge change in the right direction.

More stuff showed up, more stuff went on. One thing I forgot about was figuring out the internal wastegate. Going to eventually get an o2 housing w external gate option but keeping this bandaid for now.

More parts coming next week. Ill have 1 final order i think for random items that I either forgot or are a result of more discoverables.

Latest box of parts. Fuel components are gd expensive! Will be running new feed/return lines, installing bulk head fitting on fuel pump hanger, and swapping the siphon assist via this thread: https://www.dsmtuners.com/threads/8an-fuel-feed-6an-return-bulkhead-install-with-evo-siphon.530228/

Waiting on a water pipe to show up, picked up a 2t engine hoise off amazon, and getting together a final list of misc parts.

Forgot a few things - oil feed banjo bolt, fuel rail standoff, and i need to head to ace hardware for a handful of nuts and washers.

Space - The question of fitting is usually about the space needed. Banjo fitting are great for 90deg direction change cause the fitting takes less height.

You may want to bend the bracket, or add washers under one of the feet to help point the arm
Oo thats a good idea with the washers! Definitely bending that arm and someone else mentioned in a pm that I could probably swap the actuator arm or the hex connection from the t25 since its a bit bulkier and more material around the connection to the WG. I think the thread might be a bit thicker though.

Worst case is I end up buying a different actuator from the other thread recommendations - way cheaper than an external setup and a happy medium for now. Im not planning on going bigger unless I get my hands on an awd.
