Just call it what it is---King Bearings are no longer an option....

We currently have the Performance Series (XP) std. 6-bolt Mains (Part # MB5227XP) and rod (Part # CR4481XP) bearings available.

Thanks!
Fantastic. A potential caveat is that my build will be dependent on retailers on this side of the border and, where necessary, sourced from sellers that will ship across it as I absolutely refuse to go down there now. Do you do cross-border shipping? It's been a long time since my last order...

Curt,

We do, but not directly through the website. Just email us a list to [email protected] with the specific parts you're looking to order, and the complete address, and we can manually calculate an order for you.

Thanks!

What if a person wants bearings that will give .001" more oil clearance than stock on STD size crank journals? Does King offer XP series bearings that do that? (they would have to be .0005" thinner)
I tried to figure it out from the King catalog and it looks to me like they don't.
I suppose they figure that a racer will grind or polish the crank journals to get whatever oil clearance they want.
Does King offer it as an option though?
This would be like the "X" designation on ACL Race series bearings, where you can order "HX" if you want the extra .001" oil clearance, or just "H" if you don't.

Yes, we do offer extra clearance, and our designation for that is STDX.

So, in this case: MB5227XP STDX & CR4481XP STDX

Hope this helps! 🫡

In the late 70s, we would "sand" the bearing with 2000 grit wet/dry, effectively cutting half its life, but its what we did.
Thank you again @kingbearings , you have the quality products that we NEED. :thumb:

Josh can u get these? From what Marty has learned me it’s good to have both on hand when building.
