how hard is it to change out rod bearings?

Im waiting on my cosworth rod bearing to come in the mail now. Ive already took of the oil pan and everything and inspected a couple rod bearing. Just wondering, how hard is it to change out all four bearing? i can remove the top halve of the bearing (the one that is in the connecting rod) from the bottom of the engine right? i know its a dumb question but i like to just make a game plan while im waiting on my bearing to arrive.

It's not that hard. Just have the crank in the 3 oclock position and pull the rod down.

Just take off the rod caps, put some rubber hose on the rod bolts so as not to scratch the crank, and then tap each rod/piston up to remove the top bearing. Pretty easy.

But I have to ask, why are you replacing the rod bearings? If you spun a bearing or have rod knock, most likely your crank is messed up too.

thanks for asking simple jake. i had .004 clearance on the rod bearings and i didnt have any wear or anything. it was a rebuilt engine with 0 miles. so i had to get the expensive a$$ cosworth bearing bc they are the only ones to have .001 less oil clearance. that should put me at .003 clearance. i believe my crank has been polished or something. But thanks for the info guys!
