Yup he is right. Other ways to go about it. Mine were knocking (balance shafts) deleted them problem solved. Did it in car too but very difficult labor wise

If they're saying balance shaft bearing holes are bad then Just delete the shafts. You will still need to plug the front shaft holes but a bearing is not required to do thst. There are other ways.

No. Oil squirters aren't the problem. I assume machine shop told you balance shafts cant be fixed?

My 2 cents:
I have this clutch, and it is aggressive on the street, especially 1st gear, BUT you can get used to it. I daily drive on it. It is one of the most favorite clutches that I've had.

Great clutch, a little too much for this extremely mild mannered build. Hope someone else takes advantage of the cost savings
