What do you use to clean the stainless before you weld? The brushed rings look too uniform to be a bench mounted brush,

How many amps do you run on 16 gauge ss with a vband flange? You have really good melt, I'm thinking my 60amp is too cold

And what do you use for sch10 and 40?

can i get some advice, im looking at this welder, as a economic machine for myself. I have no experience welding and would like to have something portable that can help with things here and there on my dsm. I dont plan on doing alot of welding, can this be good for me? can i weld exaust with it ? -thanks

Flux core doesn't work that well on thin stuff. Get a mig with gas.

I effin hate mig.... Lol thats just me though. Mig is good for tacking things and doing a quick and shitty job. Again my opinion. Some people mig and it looks awesome like tig. Just not mine , for that reason I'm dedicated to tig for precision and stick for structural.

Ya that looks good paul better then mine and I'm mig certified, i guess my mig welds may not appear the greatest on the face but they are solid and dont break when bent

so a MIG welder would require a gas line also ? and what gas is it ? i hear MIG can also weld Aluminum just need a different gun, wire or both ?

75/25 mix for mig. 100% argon for aluminum.
75 is argon, 25 is c02.

You can mig aluminum with 100% argon and aluminum wire.
