the clutch has not failed or slipped on me at any time. i just took it off due to a new motor and transmission setup. this is how the my xtd stage 4 looks after over 100 launches @ 5500 rpm (10psi) full boost 28psi and 5k of driving. i basically beat the crap out of it. looks pretty much worn. so i will be replacing it. maybe with another unit.

LOL is the hub still tight to the the disc? mine started to get loose after a long time. Either way these clutches lass pretty good for the money.

Is the pp still flat? take a pic of the disc at a better angle so we can see the thickness compared to the rivets.

hub is tight pp is still pretty flat with little heat marks. the creamic material is near the rivets already. I'm guessing about 1mm or less. LOL.. i need a replacement. looks like xtd has a new white pressure plate 2300lbs with 6 puck rated at 505 ft/lbs and 545hp. mines was one of the old first batch which had a chrome pp 2200lbs and 6 puck rated 405 ft/lb and 445hp. i want to reuse it to the max.. but idk.. dont have time to waste.

so what do you guys think? can i still get more out of it?

Thats a very good condition clutch. And if you say the PP is nice and flat, id say thats good as well. But, since its out i understand wanting a heavier plate. I personally used a "sachs racing" the first time hehehe, did i learn my lesson......
I went all out with a comp stage 4 2900lb PP, love it so far but after seeing these xtd's hold up so well im going with them next time 'round. Theyre just as good and atleast 100 bucks cheaper
