WTF! valve cover wont come off!?

I have a white 2G and thinking about gettinga SS UICP and making my valve cover all shiny and almost chrome look. Can't you polish the valve cover to make it shiny? Any tips? Thanks.

yep,you sure can,kindof a pain in the ass to keep them shiny,do a search on google or something for "metal polishing kit" and also check out the "TRUCKS!" website and see if you can find a product,it goes on polished aluminum and keeps it looking good for a year.
 
excuse me, but sandblasting? powdercoating?
these are things that someone with money or lots of dedication would do. we're the dsm crowd here!!

I probably have less money than most of the members on here. Powdercoating isn't really expensive if you know where to go.
 
Here's the valvecover I have installed. Pipes were done with the same process. It just really depends on what you want, how long you want it to last, what you have access to, and what you want to spend.
