WOW this sucks... read this

So on 7/13/05 I went to Jillian’s billiards. It’s a place to play pool and just hang out. Well when I came outside at 1210 and I deactivated my alarm and my pager beeped multiple times telling me one of the sensors had gone off.

so I thought maybe someone just tapped my car no big deal... as I get closer I see this giant dent from the bottom of the car to right under the driver side quarter panel window. It’s right between the door and the rim. The dent is about 2 1/2 feet high 2 feet wide all pushed all the way in and the door has some damage. The car that hit me took off and the 20 or so people outside didn’t even bother to grab a license plate. The dent is probably about 8 inches pushed in and all distorted its not like one round dent.

All I know is it was a white 4 door car. there is a bank next to the place and someone said the car went through the bank so now I am waiting for the police to get the tape and review it hopefully it catches the plate on the car if not i am screwed.

My deductible is 1000 dollars I raised it because I didn’t think id really need it and it brought my insurance down a lot. I went to one body shop he told me it would be around 1200. I called the insurance and

I was so pissed, the week before this my car was broken into but they got scared off and didn’t take anything just broke a couple windows. I haven’t been having much good luck with my car that’s for sure.


Anyone have opinions suggestions similar stories or am I the only guy that always gets screwed over

Your not the only one with bad luck, I know someone who got in a small accident and their car had to be towed. While being towed with minor front end damage, a dump truck rear ended it and demolished the car.

That sucks though. good luck getting it fixed and finding the moron who did it.

If the camera on the ATM doesn't get the plate # the cops can get his name from the bank. The ATM transaction has a time stamp and so does the security video. All they have to do is match the account #, the time, and the car in question and you got the gerk-offs name. Good Luck!

Well, my car got broken into twice..... right after I reported the first break in, then the second one happened.
Oh it also coincided with my breakup with my bf.
So, yeah, I've had some bad luck...

Plus on another occassion, someone decided to use a baseball bat and knocked off my side mirror. *sigh*

Oh and as to the second breakup... guess what they took??
The freakin cup holder/ash tray thing.
There was a 100$ power inverter.... nope... they took the cupholder/ashtray

Boston cops are usually pretty good about taking care of people, if they can get an id on the car they will,
the pay lots seem a little expensive at 20 bucks or more but split it up between the passengers, its good insurance, a lot of the gas stations will let you drop it in their lot for a 20 spot too,
i hate parking in the street in town, your lucky it wasnt a budweiser truck or something...

It sucked I was so pissed, no he wasn’t using the atm he was just driving through the bank.

Well after leaving 3 messages for the police they couldn’t even bother to return my call... god I hate cops they are never useful, they have never once helped me for anything. So now I am screwed and have to pay the 1000 out of my pocket because someone doesn’t know how to drive.

I went and got an appraisal the other day didn’t get it back yet. I got an estimate from 2 shops one was 1100 one was 1018. Then I had some guy write me up a quote to replace the panel instead of repair which costs allot more it came to 2300. So I brought that to the appraiser and hoping they would say it’s like 2000 worth of damage or whatever, then I would take the 1000 they give me and just get it repaired.

Hopefully that works if not its bullshit.

Things like this make me wonder why I bother modding or taking good care of my car

well finally got the apprasil in the other day. the apprasil from the insurance company is $1650. that price is to repalce the panal, i think i might just have it repaired that way it would only be about 1000 (already got a few quotes).

today im going to a friends body shop see how much he wants and to get a quote for my whole car to get painted.

i just got my evo front bumper, blitz rear, and blitz side skirts. also got z3 fenders and a carbon fiber hood.

I was visiting my wife (then GF) in her apartment when I came out the next morning, it had snowed and I noticed that there was no snow on my drivers side window. So I look in to find glass and about 2" of snow in my car. Since my car was stock then I had nothing in the car so I guess he was pissed that he couldn't steal anything and decided to slash 2 of my tires also.

oh but wait it gets better, I being the dumb ass that I am left my cellphone in my car. This tool bag use's my phone to call someones mom and make threat's on my phone!! So 2 days later police are at my door after tracing the number and take me down to the station to "talk" to me. So after 4hrs of interview and finally convincing them that I didn't have any connection to this lady I was cleared.

im taking a wild guess that you dont like body kits. i got a good deal on it thats why i jumped on it

i paid 370 total including shipping for the front bumper rear bumper both side skirts and a pair of z3 fenders

the carbon hood i paid 350 shipped, its brand new

No, they tried getting prints off my phone but it was 2 days later, same with the car had the window replaced that day and the car was cleaned.

Same thing happened to me at a bar and it was $2000 in damage. I called my insurance company the next day and they said it would fall under the Uninsured motorist catagory and that on most policies is $250, so I paid it and got my dent that you could sit in fixed.

people are jackasses they dont care about anyone or anything, thats why i wonder why i bother modding my car i know someone is just gonna f it up. Thtas kind of messed up for the person to take something off your car, but i shouldnt talk im one of those offenders. i had a winshield nozzle that didnt work and couldnt get a replacement anywhere and online deals always fell through so i just took one off of a dealership

on a good note i just got my head lights in they look good. i cant wait for everything to be put on and painted.

I woke up one morning to seeing my quarter glass and my drivers side window busted out and a few screwdriver dents in my quarter panel. not to sound cocky, but theyre probably jealous i guess. oh ya...and my chromes do get stolen too......f*ckin little kids. where do they get off doing that, AND wtf do they do with chromes, put them on their bike?? i have a viper alarm with 2 way pager it works good but its not loud so half time i dont hear it, i need to set it to vibrate. i wanna get the gps system that calls your phone if your alarm goes off i called a few places for a quote but they havent got back to me
