Ok, I'm looking at a '95 Talon TSi AWD with the following:

DB UICP
-1g BOV
-Joe P MBC
-Autometer boost gauge
-Under hood shift kit
-Custom K&N intake
-Reinforced rear strut bar
-Front strut bar
-Rear Tokico HP coilovers
-Semimetalic pads

New
-19k on rebuilt tranny
-Front Bridgestone G009 HP all seasons
-Both lower ball joints (recall)
-Left inner tierod
-Fronts left hub assembly
-Right rear hub assembly
-Front rotors
-Newer starter

It has 133k on the engine though. Price is around $5k, would you do it?

I'd pick it up. Gots a good start on some mods, and if the body's straight sounds like a nice ride. Plus its a 95 so you'll most likely have the "Eprom" OMG :D

5 grand is insane for a 95 tsi awd with 133k miles...It bareley even modded wow a boost controller! The cars worth 3-3500 or thats what i would pay for it. 5k is crazy

Shift kit huh, im guessing its and automatic, no way should you pay that much for a 95 with that many miles, you will have alot more fun with a 5spd and you will put more power to the wheels

I agree

I think he ment the bushings for the shift linkage under the hood. That would mean it's a manual. :thumb:

I would say no because I just picked up my 95 Talon TSi AWD for 5 grand with no mods done, so i can do what i want, and it had 68,000 miles on it :D. It also had a little bit of body damage but notting that can't be fixed and made to look better anyway. The mods however are a nice start. My only problem is the miles and i'm not too big on rebuilding stuff. Just stick somethign new and better in it.
