Would you buy this car?

I looked up on Kelley Blue Book for my area, and they showed a value of about $7500 for one that is in excellent condition. According to the picture, it looks like it is mostly cosmetic damage. Talk to them and see what is damaged on the car to get a more accurate guess of what needs to be replaced. I doubt that it would be too costly to get it all fixed up, but again, it depends on what all needs to be done. If there is also engine work to be done, that will definitely add to the cost.

Keep us informed!

Cosmetic things can easily and cheaply be replaced if you do some
yourself. You can pick up a new urethane 97-99 style eclipse bumper and
aftermarket headlight for about $300-400 total. Then try to find a used hood. maybe
even from someone going carbon fiber. As long as the engine and frame look
good the only thing keeping you from a good car is a little painting of the new
items and some bolts. Plus, at least in my limited experince, white seems like a easier
color to color match if you want to do it yourself. At least coming from my last car I painted
to my damned hard to match blue metallic color.

Yeah, a painter friend of mine used to say "If it ain't right, paint it white."

Wouldn't what? Buy it or paint it white?

It was already sold anyway.

I always thought "light" damage was like a dent in the fender, not something you needed to buy a new bumper and hood for, this d@mn things has a salvage title.
I would say that if the engine has no problems and with what I can see from the pic, you need a hood and a bumper both white or painted white.
Hood: have no clue maybe $200+
Bumper: 140+
Painting: No clue on just hose peices. Call Macco see if they will just paint pieces, I got my Neon just repainted and it was like 300 and it looked good. So prob under 300
IMHO if there is anything more wrong with this car I would not waste money on it. my $0.02

it would be worth it as long as no engine problems. body isnt much of an issue and not to expensive. just call some places up.

Because I couldn't figure out where to mount training wheels. And yes, she's single. She better be at 16.
