Ever since I have owned this GSX it has ran very hot sometimes seeing temperatures from 220 to 240. Iv taken basic steps, thermostat, radiator flush and I recently replaced the radiator fans because the ones on there were a joke I used the generic push pull ebay fans and installed an adjustable thermostat. The adjustable thermostat has to be installed inside the lower radiator hose. While I had it off I noticed the inside of the hose had a coating of a dried on layer of what felt like sandpaper. Through prior experiences I knew it was the head gasket repair. I had never put it on this car and Im pretty sure even if they did use it it was not the current head gasket. Great compression, and I dont burn oil or water. Does any one else have experience with or have heard of this stuff clogging the water jackets? Im running out of ideas here and kind of thought this makes sense.
