i've found alot of cheaper neon turbo kits then eclipse turbo kits with basicaly the same parts in it.. i know there blocks are the same so would it work?

No it wouldn't work, the bolt pattern and exhaust are different. I know they are both called the 420A but they aren't the same.

The intake on a neon is in the front and the exhaust in the back (opposite of ours) as well so the intercooler piping would definitely not work so well if you used one from the kit. You could always just use the turbo, intercooler, bov, general parts like that but the ones specific to the neon such as the exhaust manifold, no. Some of the piping also. It all depends on what turbo kits youre looking at and what parts are included.

If the kits you see are a very good price might as well buy it, use the parts you need and sell off the rest.

Bolt pattern is the same but the angle of the manifold will cause turbo to radiator interference.

Ok, I was half right. Still, you can't use the parts. Only things you could possibly get away with are the turbo and its components and maybe 1 or 2 pieces of pipe somewhere if you build your own system.

the kits only $800 but i would need to make a down pipe..

Be careful with those ebay kits. Turbos are generic and sometimes unreliable. IC piping is a universal kit so you should be able to make something work. DP wont work, exhaust manifold wont work. BOV may or may not work properly. Very incomplete kit according to description.

After replacing what wont work, whats not included, and what doesnt work/fails, you would have come out cheaper buying a complete kit from a reputable source.

thats awesome i'm actualy gettting $1600 to spend on my car this month. could you show me a kit or list of exaclty what i need i've never really done a turbo build before but i'm still learning..

When I said incomplete kit, I was talking about supporting parts, not turbo related parts. Have you considered the fuel upgrades you need to run a turbo kit? Its not just as simple as bolting on a generic kit and going riding. Half ass it the first time around, you will be doing it again. Along with the engine replacement.
