FMIC Kit off a 420a .. work with a 4g63 ?

A friend of mine gave me a FMIC Kit with all piping ... it came off a 96 talon with a 420a engine in it. I know the engine sits reversed compared to my 4g63 engine. Is it possible to use this kit with my 95 talon tsi awd 4g63 ?

If he gave it to you go try it out on your car to see if it fits. You will probably have to do some modifications to make it fit properly

What type of modifications ? Like to the piping or to the engine bay ?

Just the piping, it probably isnt going to line up the way you want it. Do the pipes have beads on the end of them or are they smooth?

They are beaded at the ends.

Cool, just avoid any pipes without beads because couplers will blow off of them under boost really easily. Just take it out to your car and mock it up (set everythin in place) and see what your gonna have to do to make it fit

hey if its free, it will be worth it to do some modifications if they are needed. Or you could allways sell it and buy a kit that is designed for a 4g63

I actually threw it in the dumpster ... was tired of seeing it sit around ...
