would 650's and no management?

Yea 650's and no compensation is going to make your car run REALLY rich. Swap in the 450's unless you purchase a tuning solution.

im sure 650 is to much for a afc, afc wont run the correct timing. im pretty sure with 650 your gonna have to pull like 30 percent correction and thats gonna throw the timing outa wack. if you had 550's at like 17 percent correction that would ok. id save and get a real tuning device most piggy backs arent that effective

hmm good advice i have a crappy apexi neo with harness but it hasnt been installed yet. ok looks like ill swap that in and trouble shoot if it keeps dying- thanks for chiming in.

No they will not. I was pointing that out for those with a 2G - I should have specified that.

Wrong, they can be used on a 1g but its more of a hastle. There is a thread on evom where at least 2 people have successfully gotten their 1g's running on evo ecu's.

Yeah I dont want hassle just looking for a good reliable but simple way to tune.

Well, you have a 1g so it is really easy - people have been modifying the stock ecu code for a long long time. Piggybacks simply aren't worth it, they have a limited application and have little potential. If you're going for really big power, a standalone might be of benefit to you but for most people using the stock ECU will work just fine. You have a choice to either stick with the MAF (no reason to) or go speed density with Jackal. All the software is free. My vote is for Jackal. There is plenty of info here and on their forums, or you can PM me for more info.
