worried about my new 2600 clutch

i installed a act 2600 about a week ago and have about 800 miles on it. yesterday i launched then let off and i smelt a little of that really bad clutch smell. is that normal for a awd? or is it slipping

Did you feel it slip? The smell is from burning not slipping.

i had the same probelm with my 2100 but it went away after awhile and it really got broken in....

I Probly Wouldn't Worry About It, I Am Not Hard On My Car Untill Track Day, And On The First Launch It Usually Smells. I Think It Is Because There Is Dust And Stuff On The Disc From Normal Driving. Could Be Wrong, But It Happens Frequently With Him And Still Hold Very Strong, Also I Only Have About 4k On Clutch
