Won't Start.... HELP!

So I'm trying to change my spark plug wires for these MSD 8.5's and I didn't pay attention to which order they were in when I pulled them out, so I put the MSD's in a random guess and they car drove about 200ft but was running funny and the rpm's were going crazy, so after alot of help from Femme and Blackgsx, I get the order down and put them in the right order. So I try to crank the car and it won't start.... and if i try to crank it for too long, it smokes a little. Help if you can. I've turned a 5 min job into a whole episode.

Try and put the old wires back on and see what happens thos msd may be defective

When I put them on the first time they worked, just I had them in the wrong order so it was running funny. Then when I put them on the right way, the car won't even crank. Any chance I messed something up while running it with them on wrong? I only ran it about 200 ft at less then 2500 rpms.

Check your fuses. Ohm your coil pack. See if you're getting fuel to your fuel rail/injectors are spraying. (Pull the spark plugs and look for fuel)
