Whats up, first time poster, I've got a 97 GS 420a 2.0 auto trans , and it won't idle.
I changed out the IAC about 2 months ago,and recently after scanning, the computer threw a P0108(MAP barometric pressure high input) & P0113 (Air Temperature Sensor high input) codes.I replaced the MAP sensor & the intake air temperature sensor in the back of the manifold.I also had light smoke coming from under the engine block,and from the exhaust,but after i replaced the air temperature sensor the smoke went away.
Before I replaced those sensors the car wouldn't idle and it revved randomly if I held the gas.After I replaced the sensors,the car still won't idle,but it revs consistently from 1K to 2K rpms while holding the gas.I checked all my hoses so i don't think I have a air leak,but for the life of me I can't figure out why it won't idle still.Appreciate any help,thanks.
