well my car was running really good but had a good sized leak in my I/C.so i ordered one last week and came in.i was kind of in a rush, so wake up early and start putting the new I/C in.everything went good and took it for a little test drive..well i didnt even make it down the road and my car starts running rough and throttle was stuck open..so i push my car back home and take apart my intake to find styrofoam packing in there..my dumb *** didnt blow out the new i/c to see if anything was in there..well some got injested in the motor and wont run..makes a loud tapping noise like i either bent some valves or even worse broke a connecting rod..take the plugs out and find #2 plug smashed very bad...all this because i forgot to check for stuff in the i/c.....guess its time to take the head off and find out what happened....just thought i'd share this stupid incident with you guys

I was driving my car the other day and spiked my 16g to 27lbs or so. A few minutes later the car died... turns out that spike blew a coupling off my lower IC piping (which wasn't too tight). I thought I blew the turbo at first.

wish this was a simple fix.i am thinking its a rod or something in the bottom end.i took off the valve cover and everything looked good,no loose valve springs or lifters. but i guess i really have to remove the head to see whats going on. i really just hope something is sitting on top of the piston,it gets good compression but i put another plug in there and that one bent also...
