Is there anything specifically different about changing the oil in a turbo car than in a non-turbo car? I know this is probably a stupid question, but a simple answer. But I don't know. Thanks guys.

^^^ What he said, except you may want to change it religiously if you don't already.

Oil quality is a major factor in how long your turbocharger is going to last. The more used it is, the more of a tendency it has to 'coke' in the turbo after shutting the car down.

EDIT: Oh, and Dave, please get rid of that pic and put the pic of your car there instead. It's much better looking, and that game isn't really all that fun. :p

It is highly recommended you use synthetic oils on turbo vehicles because they are less likely to cake to the turbo bearings when your car is off in cold weather.

This is where a turbo timer comes in handy, by using a turbo timer you can cool down the turbo gradually instead which will prolong turbo life.

I also don't recommend you use too heavy of an oil either, for the same reasons above.

i tried synthetic in my gst and i didn't really like it too much. I may have to try it in the X. Just like everyone else said Oil is very important in keeping your car running.
