Fill out your vehicle profile so we can at least give you some sort of idea where to begin.

yea if you saw my post above yours about the throttle body leak youd see i am having the same problem. I am not 100% its just a boost leak i havent really driven her around yet. But exactly as you described, i am having, and i can not find out why.

edit: oh yea i have changed my plugs and adjusted my air fuel both ways with still no luck

i didnt mention the vibration and major knocking... it happens when the car is HOT... i believe the engine is running abnormally HOT but the gauage reads fine?...

BoBbOrAzE, do you get any vibration? i just did a timing belt but it ran awesome the day i did it... now i replaced my alternator and its doing this...

no i really dont get any vibration other than normal and i beleive mine happens hot or cold. Its like i will push the throttle down and it will climb somewhat normal to 4 then slooowly keep climbing with barely any power at all.

yep!.... :( im doin my water pump tomorrow and im gonna pull everything off again and check to see if my timing is lined up... i think its my balance shaft, cause they can cause vibration? dunno cant find anything on them.. and Vfaq blows as you can search..

ill let you know if i figure it out, please do the same!

Look to see if the sleeve from the throttle body to the uic piping. Mine came loose and it would do the same problem your saying.

i had a boost leak the other day after installing my uicp. my leak was where the side mounts connects to the uicp. check ur upper and lower ic pipes. while mine was leaking i couldnt accelerate past 4k, it just wouldnt go. let your car idle and listen for hissing sound to try to locate a leak if there is one.
