Wondering this color

Hi DSMTuners,

I saw this Eclipse for sale lately and I just love the color.
Now I did some research and I might have found the color name is Monarch Green Pearl.
Is that right?

What's the difference between Monarch Green Pearl and Monarch Green Pearl Metallic then?
Also Sherwood Green Pearl looks quite alot like the Monarch one
Or is it me? XD

But why does the one in the sun looks so different then the rolling shot one?
Is that because of the sunlight?

well the first pic has the sun out but behind the clounds and the blue sky/asphalt reflecting off of it and the second pic has more sun with different ground colors bouncing off of it, its a little more faded too. look up a metallic color and a pearl color and compare them side by side.

Never look at names of colors- they don't mean shit. Most manufacturers will have at least three different names for the same color. Codes tell the story.

How can i get g56 duplicolor. I used some ford color and it looks like ass in my interior where i removed the sound deadening. ( see the what did you do to your dsm today thread)

Careful with that site. not sure how accurate it is. don't see graphite grey anywhere, and the cayenne link shows a Saronno Red spider. Awesome concept and could be useful, but not completely accurate

Indeed I know codes are more accurate then names.
I saw JusMX141 post G56 as the paint color.

But I will compare a pearl and metallic effect thnx for the tip Jayson427.
