So after sorting out the clutch issues on my GST I finaly sold it and got what i wanted for it. Now that the cash flow is back, im workin on my 98 GSX. Heres where its at as of now
-Apex'i AVCR and SAFCII
-Delphi 780cc Injectors
-Holley 255 forced induction fuel pump
-Evo 16g turbo
-Injen Intake
-Greddy FMIC
-Apex'i N1 exhaust
-Eibach sportline springs/camber kit
-17' Motegi MR7 rims

Heres my options... I stick with the GSX, or sell it and go after an MK4 Supra... I've been debating this for the past few days. What do you all think I should do.... Continue with the GSX or sell and go after a supra. Right now im leaning towards the GSX for the AWD, either way its gonna be stored winters..

Bump - Anyone in the Racine area have a chance to check this yet?

Last time I saw that green ESi it had the stock rims back on it. I don't recall much about the other rims except they were a pretty standard gunmetal 6 spoke. They may have had yellow writing on one of the spokes.

I assume you're talking about locomotion, or automotion, or whatever it's called. 3rd week in may. I've been up there the past 4 years and I never saw a strong dsm presence. I did see a lot of 3kgt's and stealths though. Let me know, I know atleast a couple dsmers from kenosha are going up there this year, plus another 50 or so others I know as well.

You wont see a strong DSM presence up there because most of us leave our busted ass DSM's at home :)

Last time we hit the Dells (late summer) we had about 10 dsm's. More of a drunk fest than anything else. My family has a cabin about 30 miles north of the Dells that we all crash at. I got so messed up the night before that I was too sick to rock the gocarts the next day. I slept on a park bench while 15 of the guys enjoyed thier day pass at Big Chief. My damn ftp server is down or i would post up some pic links.

hey doug I love the new car man :thumb: looks clean... and man what a nice mod list how does that FP 20g pull i am considering a 20g for my 1g ;)

THe turbo pulls very nice. AHHHHHHHH no very laggy either but with the higher compression that may help a bit. When I get her tuned I will give have to give u a ride, It is not as clean as the pcis make it look, it needs a little work. :thumb:

Jerk cop gave me a 6 point $367 reckless driving ticket for doing donuts in the parking lot. I got it reduced to 3 points $150 ;) Always ALWAYS go to court kiddies!

A Ride... I'm holding you to it ;) Would you take a 20g over a EVO 16g? Im in a dilemma here... i think the car looks great, it is very proportional and has a stout stance to it :thumb:

Hmm, 16g or 20g, must people would be like duh the 20g, but if I had the choice I would most likely save the money and go with a 16g, you can still run 12s or posssible 11's with it. She is waiting till spring and then I will be unleashing her, needs to be tuned and I want to get rid of the stupid center force clutch that is in it. I have spec stage three I believe but am trying to decide on a flywheel.

16g vs 20g.... ;) Hmmmm I'm still going with the FP3065 w/ the 2.3 stroker when i get back from iraq around october, i leave in march. haha

Nice new ride doug, Maybe i could check it out when i get back to WI..

FP3065 and 2.3 stroker are key! hey andy i hope u enjoy my old block LOL

if anyone is interested i got a 14b for sale too

I have had my Laser a grand total of 3 days. The fun is just beginning. Looking for DSM Info on the net and stumbled onto this great site. I have learned a great deal browsing the info here but I am a real rookie. The car is a BLAST to drive. :thumb:

I havent gone there yet but I was going to go this year. I've heard that you pay 30 bucks and you only get 3 runs? is that true? Is there anytime that you can pay the entrance fee and get as many runs as you want to?

Oh yeah the dells are a lot of fun. Me and my friends go to this resort every year like 12-14 guys deep to this resort. It is a great time. The first year we went we got kicked out of the go carts for being to rough. haha. and the guy was like and dont squeal your tires cuz we have all of your license plates. That was funny. Last year when we went to big chief we got kicked out again. I think it might of had something to do with the shrooms i hate before we left. . But yeah the resort we stayed at got sold. anybody have any other places to go to for a large group. i dont want to stay in a hotel.

evo 3 pulls nice i wish i had got mine clipped tho. as for the clutch the act 2600 is very nice :D :thumb:

Rps clutches are better than the 2600, they are more pricey, but the longevity pays for itself. If you are considering a 20G you might as well buy a 50 trim. The 20G is rather outdated compared to some of the newer turbos out there....

TSIBRED1, you work at topstreet? Do you have a phone number where I can get a hold of you. Where exactly is topstreet located. How much to tune my car with the DSMlink?

ACT's are crap. Iv upgraded my ACT 2600 to the SlowboyRacing 3500 clutch kit. Very happy with it....Why take the chance of a spring breaking on the ACT?

whenever the good man John sheperd can find a tranny he can rebuild for me i will be going SBR clutch and fidanza flywheel setup. and i think i will be going EVO III 16g :thumb: my buddy ran low-mid 12's with BPU's and no FMIC on a big 16g. I cant wait :D

Oh yeah... who is going to the SHOOTOUT this year? i am for sure with my buddy and his modded 3g  and i would like to caravan with the other WI DSMers down to Norwalk

Hey everyone. didn't have anywhere to post this since I don't get WIDSM mail anymore. So if anyone can tell me if it's still active that would be cool. Anyhow, I have 93 TSi with a few things done to it. I left in 2001 for the Air Force and I will be coming back home in June. I hope to get my car back into shape and running strong again. I had planed on getting a whole bunch of parts, mostly turbo, exhaust and engine management. But since I have spent no time working on my car, I have lost the ability to do so for the most part. I need someones help, I came home this winter to discover that my timing belt is of. Lucky for me I haven;t run the car but 30 mins in about 4 years, any takers. Dunno what you guys do, but I'll offer a case of beer.

On a second note, being on the west coast for 3 years has made me appreciate being able to drive 5mins to the nearest import tuner store. So, I plan on taking advantage of what I have and possibly opening up a tuner store in Madison. Anyone got any ideas or comments. Gonna have to cater to the money, so that means lots of honda stuff, but I think we can manage a fair amount of DSM stuff. Well see you all in June, hopefully

Faly :talon:

I would like to make a ajenda on what events as a large group here on tuners would like to do. I would like to make an layout of what events as a large group here on tuners we would like to do. First to come to mind is a large spring meet up. Any ideas on where or a date??? Second, attending import wars what dates as a group would we like to go down and run or just watch. Third, I was thinking about having an install fest at my house. I have about 5 acres and a large 40X80 garage with a lift and any tool imagined. The back yard would be big enough for peeps to park there car on and the garage will have to move people in and out. Also a large BBQ that day maybe have everyone throw in 5 or 10 bucks. Fourth summer meets and group meets on hwy. Also I would really like to get footage of everyone who uses this site into my vid. It will be better then socals for sure hahah. I guess that’s all I have right now. Hopefully everyone can throw some dates around and we can put something together.
