Just find what rattles and put something in between it. Jute (sp?), a shredded carpet time material is fairly inexpensive.

I want to mat my hatch. Because it rattles so bad. How do I keep it from rattling? Just put some deadening mat on there?

Ya know I was thinking about that when I was putting mat in floor board. Why not expandable foam? Its light, insulator and cheap. You could fill in the voids easy, it should quiet it up. Just a thought.
