I'm trying to install an Innovate LC-1 wideband and XD16 gauge, and data log it in Evoscan. But I've run in to two problems.

It seems like most people wire it into the rear o2's ECU input (pin 75), but I want to keep my rear o2 since I can't tune it for a while since I can't afford the EcuFlash cable right now. Is there another good input on the ECU for a wideband?

The second problem is that the LC-1 manual says that all grounds should be connected to a single lug, and if data logging with an ECU, should be grounded at or near the ECU or data logger's input signal ground. So if I were to use the rear o2 input, do I have to ground all the LC-1 grounds at this sensor's ground point? And if so, where is it?

Here's a list of available ECU inputs and their requirements/parameters.

As for the grounds, just ground them on a single lug somewhere that gets a good ground. I believe mine used to be grounded to the metal support brace on the side of the dash (where kick panels are) until I installed distribution blocks and had one specifically for grounds.

You don't need to use an ecu's analog input to log AFR with a LC-1 and EvoScan. That is the DSMLink way of logging AFR, EvoScan has support for the LC-1's Digital Protocol.

Using the LC-1's digital output is 100% accurate. You can get error using the analog output because of ground offsets and voltage drop. If logging analog you must make sure your logged values match the gauge.

The LC-1s digital cable has a 2.5mm phono plug on one end and a DB-9 serial connector on the other. Plug one end into the LC-1 and the other into your computer. The select the proper com port and WB in EvoScan in the WideBand pull down menu.

I added a dedicated switched power and ground for my LC-1. Was getting Low Voltage Error running it off the cigarette lighter power and grounded to the metal brace.

Crazy, I would've never thought you could plug the LC-1 right into the PC. Gotta love EvoScan! So how did you wire the dedicated switched power and ground? Did you add a fuse?
