I have my COP system that I made myself with Intrepid coils, bolted onto my car, and it is running nice and smooth, no boo boos to fix here. :thumb:
Now I am attempting to wire up the Ignition amplifier to the set up, to help the coil's spark become stronger. The Ignition amp. has 6 wires to hook up to six different individual coils. Now originally they are supposed to hook up to the two blue signal wires with the two original coils. I tried to hook them up to the individual yellow wires and after I installed it, I had spark blow out at 4k+ rpm. (running largest stock gap on OEM NGK style heat plugs at 16 psi on a 14b)
Now, I was wondering if any of you have wired this certain amplifier to their COP system, and had no problems after?
If so how did you wire it up?
Thanks.
