Ok I have the stock two clips for the car. Then I have the " adapter kit " circuit city gave me. I sure as hell know that you cant plug two clips into the 1 that the kit has. Its a sony explode cd player and I bought teh " kit " that plugs into teh back of it, was just hoping I could splice the wires in together but get home and I have stock wiring with multiple colors. The adapter has basically solid colors. I found what each of the stock wires do on vfaq but need to know what each color wire on the sony kit does. I imagine someone knows this. I need to know what each of these wires does.

Yellow, Red, Black, Orange, Blue, Blue w white,purple, purple with black, green, green with black, grey, grey w/ black, white, and white with black

Now I imagine the colors paired with black or white are the speakers but i just dont know which ones. Can anyone help?

Ya, I have a sony head unit, I could help, but Id need to know what the hell you mean by clips, Ill get busy posting what each wire for.....the harness you bought Im assuming......does, Im almost positive I still have that diagram, oh, better yet, just match up the colors, the colors will match to the cars stock wires.....yep, just checked Im sure, just match up the colors.

White = Left front speaker +
White/black = Left front speaker -

Gray = Right front speaker +
Gray/black = Right front speaker -

Green = Left rear speaker +
Green/black = Left rear speaker -

Purple = Right rear speaker +
Purple/black = Right rear speaker -

Black = Ground

Blue = ANT REM (Power antenna remote)

Light Blue = ATT (something to do with car phones...)

Orange/white = Illumination (my wire looked more pink/white)

Red = Switched +12V power

Yellow = Constant +12V

Blue/white = AMP REM

Those were the wires for my Sony XPLOD headunit harness... even if you don't have the same one, manufacturers adopted that color code almost universally.
