Wiring Cam sensors

I have a 1990 CAS harness and a 91+ Cam sensor
JUst wanted to know what wires hook up to each other (from harness to sensor)


90 Harness goes like this in order
Black-Red-Yellow-White

91 Cam sensor
Black-Red-Black-White


So would I have to hook up the yellow wire into the black wire on the sensor?

You sure the second "Black" wire is not just the yellow wire baked and covered with grime?
I'd clean it up / follow it back to the plug side to make sure.

BTW.. my 1990 has a square plug for the CAS at the firewall. Not sure of the 91-94s but my Chilton's shows it as a flat plug
