So I pulled the alternator off to replace it and when I went to put the new one on I noticed 2 extra wires. There is a yellow wire and a blue wire. From searching I think I found that the yellow is for the oil dummy light I think but what is the blue one? The blue has a female connector on it I think. Any idea what its for? Also the white with red connect to the pot labeled "B" correct? Also this is on a 90.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Where does the yellow connect at the alternator? These are the wires in question. Two wires into the plug then there is there two just floating...

I just realized though that these wires would be colored for a colt not an eclipse but every diagram I look at only shows 4 wires going to the alternator. Two in the plug and two are the charging wires. So I have no idea what these other two are for...

A Colt is not an Eclipse so it's wiring could be anything (and Chrysler sometimes has bizarre alt wiring - even on the 2g NT, like for example, the regulator is in the ECU instead of the alt). Go look it up in a diagrams manual.
