Just out of curiosity, have any of the 2G guys tried out this app? I saw several threads from a year or two back asking about this possibility. The hardware is relatively expensive compared to a palm etc... but it looks decent if you already own an iTouch.
PLX Kiwi Wifi - Connect your iPhone / iPod Touch to your car's OBD2 OBDII Port.
I'm not very good with programming, only having some basic C++ knowledge, but would it be possible to run ECMlink (linux version) on an iTouch operating linux? I guess the trick is making a custom cable interface...?
Guess its just some food for thought...

. Over wireless the iTouch can control my iTunes, act as wireless mouse, and a tv remote. It just seems like with the right programming you could utilize that functionality to change tables etc in ECU...? Because this stuff doesn't even use a cable it uses that wireless adapter. Dam I should've paid more attention in programming...
