I'm in need of one to tune my 3" gm Maft setup so I'm wandering what brand and model of data loggers will work vest for what I need to do

I run DSMLink v3 for my 98 GSX on a Speed Density setup. Takes care of it all for you.

Link is hands down the best and set up as speed density is simple to tune and logs everything.

If all you need is a data logger: Evoscan with the data cable (15$ for evoscan and something like 7-10$ for the cable). Specially since you have a 98 with the black ecu; cheap and easy.

Ditch that maft before i blow it up . Use the black box ecu yours is a flashable ecu like the evos have. Pm my1gdsm for a remote tune.

I personally prefer Link but both are good as listed above but as stated you already have the black box ecu so you might as well use that and save some. $$
