Straight from my dsmtalk thread, I need help ASAP!!!!

As fun as the title is, this is not a game. I am having major issues here and the goal right now is to have the car running tomorrow and completed by Friday/Saturday

Here are the issues:

As I am hooking up the wiring harness, I realize that I am missing certain things and others just don't match up. I understand there are differences in '91 components and '90 components so please help me out here!

Things I'm using (the ones highlighted are important for this issue:)
- 90 Wiring Harness
- 91 TB
- 91 Water temp housing

- 90 coilpack/PTM/CAS
- 91 EPROM ECU
- 91 trans
- NO A/C

Basically, as me and a buddy went to hook up everything, we found certain plugs that didn't match up anywhere, but most importantly a whole section of parts that didn't have any plug near it to mate up to

If you can see in there, the TPS and the ISC have nothing for it to plug into, these are all the '91 components on a '91 TB in a '90 car.

Next, I need to know which plug goes to the CAS, there are a bunch of them near the firewall and harness that surprisingly match up perfectly

Next, here is the '91 Trans in the car, with the Reverse sensor or whatever plugged in. Here is the pic next to the only available plug on that side of the sensor

OK well on TALK we figured out where the CAS goes to, but apparently there is some odd confusion with the TPS connector...

Apparently one of the connectors on the firewall, possibly goes to another connector which then attaches to the TPS (?)

I guess I need one of those...Oh, and I still haven't figured out the ISC (?)

there

Well we figured that one out on TALK sorry for not updating, my biggest issue is finding out the TPS and ISC situation

Can somebody please help me out with those 2 things....And what to do for the trans

In your pictures you have the ISC connected. Where is that running to?

Ok maybe Im not talking about the ISC...What is the black unit on the right of the TB, it is not connected to anything...If I had mad MS PAINT skills I would circle it...

Oh really (?)

Then what is the single wire/prong connector on the left side of the TB that isnt connected...Wow Im confused

Wow Josh, you really should consider selling your car and getting something a little simpler to get around on, say like a big wheel. :)

That's the IPS, the closed throttle switch. There should be a green wire with a female spade connector for that.

Yeah I was thinking about that...

Sorry for all the noob questions yesterday, I basically figured out everything last night and was kicking myself for asking these stupid things...

Here's where my issues were:

For the IPS, I couldnt find it on the harness because clearly it was ripped off at one point, but regardless, I got a hold of the unit as a pigtail which I will be putting on the 90 TB if it doesnt already have one...

I believe it then runs to the same connector as the TPS, correct? So basically I can just run the 3 TPS wires and that 1 IPS wire with spade connectors on all of the ends, and attach them to the connector on the firewall...

Reverse sensor -- I found the connector, it was on the starter wiring harness, couldnt figure that out before

CAS plug -- FIgured that one out, its on the firewall

Basically, wiring wise I seemed to figure everything out, the only thing holding me back right now is getting that '90 Turbo TB, somebody gave me a 90 N/T unit which doesnt help with my Intercooler piping setup which I do not wish to cut up

_________

For some reason the Throttle body sensors had been one area I had always been a tad iffy with, glad I fully understand everything now, I guess we can call it a learning experience ;)
