90 engine in 91 car...help

Hey,
i have a 90 laser engine in a 91 tsi talon....its turboed and all that, i have one question the wireing harness that plugs into the back of the air intake.... its not the same on both cars ... but the wires are the same color can i just cut the harness off put the old on on and plug it in with no conciquence...or do they make an adapter or something for it ....
please help...

ok guys, im surprised somebody hasnt answered this one yet, 90 had its own throttle body, and the sencors were in differant locations, its much easier to stay with the 91-94 throttle body with a 91 motor
