I believe the fuel pump only runs when it is cranking and when it is running

But I want it to run when the key is in the run position with the car not running

But not when the key is turned to acc position
Or is there somewhere in link other then the manual turn on button that can make that work
I hope this makes sense

Thanks
MJP

If you have ecmlink you can turn it on when ever you want not sure what your trying to do

I want the fuel.pump to activate when the key is put in the run position

I do know about the button you push in link to turn it on and off but I want it to do this every the I go to start the car

The car starts kind of hard Everytime for the first time of the day or after it sits for at least 6 hours or so and I figured that it was from the fuel system bleeding down

I figured if I could let it prime for a few seconds before I start cranking it would
start alot better.

fix the problem not apply a bandaid. you are probably right and it could be a leaky oring at the pump. alternately its a leaky injector in which case your fix wont do anything. you can check that by letting it sit and pull the plugs and see if any are wet or smell of gas.

I just I don't do bandaids if there is a way to fix it I will as far as the injecters they are new but I will check the cylinder's for fuel and the fuel pump is fairly new like a year old what about the fuel regulator should that hold pressure or could that be a prob then

I just figured the fuel system did not hold pressure over night

Most cars the pump primes before it is cranked

But if your saying the fuel system should hold pressure I will do some more digging and see if I can't find the prob then.

Thanks for the help so far
