window rattle

can someone help me with my window rattles when they are rolled down it rattles pretty bad. can i get a pic of what i need to tighten or fix. thanks

There are plastic pieces that bolt to the window and track. They break and the window becomes loose. You will have to pull the door panel off and see what exactly is broken.

I fixed that plastic piece near the front bottom of the window. i put it in a vice and closed it more. but now im running into a problem where my door is rattling because the latch has lost all its rubber and it hooks on the metal but its not as thick as it should be. where can i find this rubber? would a picture help? I can take one later after work.

im pretty sure your talking about the "striker".. you can get new ones from the help me section of advance, autozone or any of the big chain auto store near you.

if all else fails go to a junk yard and pick up a new door

A new door won't fix the striker problem. As already said he will need to pick up a new striker.

For future reference of people that search this issue, you can simply flip the striker which will give you new, unused plastic to latch to.
