I got the door card off, the speaker tub out, and I looked around in the hole, to try to find what I was supposed to be removing. What am I supposed to be getting at?

Yeah I couldn't find the pics either. My windows rattle like crazy even when rolled all the way up because I have 1000 watts rms in my car.

All 2G DSMs windows rattle. I havent pulled my door panels off yet because Im afraid of breaking the plastic clips. If you do it, take pics and do a write up!

They don't all rattle.
I found a parts car with windows so nice and tight,I swapped doors.

Don't be afraid of just popping the door panels off.
Make sure you take out all the screws.
Two on each end of the door, one behind the handle and one in the door "grip" hole.
Then just pull out towards you, it'll pop right off.
If you have power windows make sure you unplug the connector, before you just pull it right off.
If you have manual windows, I use a rag and slide it behind the handle to grab the C clip.

So to fix issue u have to take mounting part off and put it in a vice
